Nurse-visit and emergency services
They arrive after something has gone wrong. They are episodic and expensive, and they treat your parent as a patient.
SaathiLife.Care
Others sell your parents a nurse, an alarm button or a gadget. SaathiLife.Care gives them a साथी: Saathi, a real person and a trained, police-verified volunteer, who talks with them in their own language, notices what they would never tell you, and gives them back a reason to be needed.
See it in about a minute
A short hand-drawn story in English and Hindi. It has no sound, and you can pause it, jump to a scene or read it instead.
Your parent is far away. The phone is quiet.
माँ-पापा दूर हैं, और फ़ोन शांत है।
The gap
Senior care has taken three shapes. Each is useful, and none of them gives a parent someone to talk to on an ordinary Tuesday.
They arrive after something has gone wrong. They are episodic and expensive, and they treat your parent as a patient.
They turn a parent into a dashboard for the child. The senior gets surveillance, the child gets graphs, and nobody gets a conversation.
They need hardware in the home, a language they may not speak, and they carry the stigma of the elder gadget on the shelf.
SaathiLife.Care is people-first: our companion, Saathi, is a real volunteer who meets your parent on WhatsApp. Saathi reaches out first, in a language that is theirs, and we are built on the belief that the way to keep someone safe is to first make them feel wanted.
What makes SaathiLife.Care different
No app to install, no device to buy, no new password. Saathi is a WhatsApp conversation, so there is nothing new to learn and nothing to be embarrassed about.
Saathi, a trained volunteer, starts the conversation; your parent does not have to ask. A Saathi speaks their language and knows the festivals, food and sayings they grew up with.
Because a volunteer talks with them regularly, Saathi can notice early changes in mood, routine and energy, and a gentle word or a visit can come before a crisis does.
What your parent says stays between them and their Saathi. Families are told whether they are alright, never what was said. Because they know that, they can tell Saathi the truth.
A recipe for the family archive. A bhajan for the neighbours. A warning about this week's scam call. Saathi asks what they know, because a person who is needed keeps talking.
How it works
You tell us who your parent is, where they live and the language they love. It takes a few minutes, from anywhere in the world.
A message arrives from Saathi, a real volunteer, in their own language. They choose what they enjoy, and the conversation begins. Nothing to install.
Saathi keeps them company, invites them to things in their own society, and lets the people who love them know how they are, without ever sharing what they said.
Beyond the household
Families used to be a joint family. Then the children moved, and the company that made ageing bearable moved with them. Other products treat the resulting loneliness as a medical problem to be monitored. We treat it as a belonging problem to be repaired.
Honest by design
We would rather you hear it from us than find it out. Overclaiming is the quickest way to lose a family’s trust.
Who it is for
You will know they are alright before you have to ask, and they will have someone to talk to on the days you cannot call.
Sign up your familyYour members already run the social life of the building. We are the layer that makes sure nobody gets missed between events.
